While traditional gym classes often focus on size and energy, small group and private Pilates prioritises form, function, and personalisation. With a maximum of 4 in our classes our instructor can see everyone at once, is never overwhelmed and can pivot the class on a dime! Our Sydney CBD reformer Pilates programs are designed for maximum impact with minimal risk, guided by highly trained Pilates instructors who understand posture, biomechanics, and rehabilitation.
Private Pilates is ideal for clients recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or just if you’re looking for some movement where the pressure is off and the focus is only you! With one-on-one guidance, each session is built around your needs—whether you’re recovering from a herniated disc, managing tension from long hours at your desk, or simply looking to increase flexibility and core strength at your own pace.
Small Group Equipment Pilates classes are capped at just 3 participants giving you the energy and accountability of a group environment without losing the precision and correction needed for results. This is 60 minutes with access to all the reformers, wunda chair, tower and small equipment, these sessions are perfect for anyone wanting a personalised, high-quality experience, some targeted studio pilates vibes, or anything requiring some modifications- pregnancy, injury or rehab.
Reformer Pilates at City Physio & Pilates is just one step up… with a maximum of 4 participants, this is a whole body workout in just 45 minutes. You’ll experience the biomechanical focus, custom cues and all the burns in all the right places. These are the perfect breakup for a work day and we have availability before work, lunchtimes and after work depending on the day!
Integrated with Physiotherapy for Smarter Outcomes
What sets City Physio & Pilates apart from other studios is our integration with expert physiotherapy services. To put it simply- if you want a Physio to do your Pilates class then you’ll pay Physio rates!
With amazing high-quality and expertly trained Pilates instructors, you dont need to fork out the dollars for a Physiotherapist to run you through a rehab program! Our dedicated Pilates instructors are experts in all things Pilates- injury and pregnancy modifications, spinal surgery rehab, sports injury programming, fitness and movement biomechanics.
This unique integration means:
- You start with a Physio Assessment Consultation. Your injury is initially assessed and managed by a Physiotherapist who then hands over to our dedicated Pilates team when you are clinically stable and ready.
- Your movement patterns are then assessed by our Pilates team in either a Private or Small Group Equipment class. Your clinical notes are shared between Physio and Pilates and a rehab plan discussed
- You save on money by using a dedicated Pilates instructor, and have more access to class availability and are not limited by the Physio’s hours
- The Physio and Pilates instructor keep talking back and forth as you progress through your rehab so you get updated programming as needed and able. You may have overlapping care for some period where you see physio one week and pilates the next, before transitioning fully to a rehab program in our Pilates classes.
- You get holistic care, whether your goal is recovery, fitness, or injury prevention
- We can tailor the programming to get you to a marathon start line (and finish line!), keep your headaches in check or roll into maintenance to keep you out of Physio!

We can tailor our classes to your tech neck, to your hunchback or your tight desk-user hips. OR…. we can come to you!
Our In-Office Corporate Pilates means that we bring all the goods and come to your office. Either as a once-off, or rolling booking. All we need is that meeting room that never gets used! We bring all the goods for up to 10 people and run you through a 55 minute class targeting all the desk-user aches and pains all from the comfort of your workplace!
